The main force behind our trip to Turkey was <br>to meet each other and plan for future international service projects!<br><br><br><br> <img src="http://www.jaredcrebs.com/may2004/arrival/before.JPG"><br> This year the Madrid Serrano Club put me in charge of International Service,<br> so I had the honor of working with the Altunizade Club to make the trip happen.<br><br><br><br> <img src="http://www.jaredcrebs.com/may2004/arrival/groupbefore.JPG"><br> Of all the members who could have gone from our club, it ended up being me and 7 GIRLS!<br><br><br><br> <img src="http://www.jaredcrebs.com/may2004/arrival/airlines.JPG"><br> We were very excited to fly Turkish Airlines to Istanbul.<br><br><br><br> <img src="http://www.jaredcrebs.com/may2004/arrival/newspaper.JPG"><br> And they gave us Turkish Newspapers!<br><br><br><br> <img src="http://www.jaredcrebs.com/may2004/arrival/arrival.JPG"><br> Once we got in, there were Turkish Flags everywhere. <br>It just so happened that we came on their National Youth Day.<br><br><br><br> <img src="http://www.jaredcrebs.com/may2004/arrival/welcome.JPG"><br> Upon leaving the terminals, we were greeted by a warm welcome. Their whole club was there!<br><br><br><br> <img src="http://www.jaredcrebs.com/may2004/arrival/yeshimbienvenido.JPG"><br> This is Ye_im holding a lovely "Bienvenido Cerrano Rotaract Club" sign they made.<br><br><br><br> <img src="http://www.jaredcrebs.com/may2004/arrival/ozlem.JPG"><br> This is Özlem, she's the President of the the club this year.<br> We worked together for 5 MONTHS planning this trip!<br><br><br><br> <img src="http://www.jaredcrebs.com/may2004/arrival/mehmetali.JPG"><br> This is Mehmet and Ali. Mehmet holds the same "International Service" chair and <br>we worked together as well. Ali speaks great Spanish.<br><br><br><br> <img src="http://www.jaredcrebs.com/may2004/arrival/cangirlf.JPG"><br> This is Can and his girlfriend, Filiz.
