Greetings Rotary Club, Family and Friends,
As many of you may have noticed, I put up pictures of Spain in March before the February pictures.
With everything that happened during 3-11 out here, I felt it was very important to explain how things were for people living in Madrid immediately after the events. As a result, I had to put February’s pictures on hold.
Until Today!
In this edition of pictures I’ve included:
• My First Flamenco “Gig” Playing for a Dance Class
• The Little Things About Spain that One Notices After Living Here for Awhile
• A Taste of Spain: How to Make Your Own Spanish Tortilla Part 1
• A Taste of Spain: How to Make Your Own Spanish Tortilla Part 2
The final two sections are step by step instructions that will show you how to make your own Spanish Tortilla from the home!
What is a Spanish Tortilla?
Well, you’ll just have to see. But I will say this, it is nothing like the tortillas we know in the States, in fact, there’s no bread involved! I had no idea what it was before I came here and now it’s one of my favorite dishes ever.
For the ones who follow the easy steps, I will feature you on the April website! So get cookin’ and send me pictures of you and your Spanish Tortilla!
